Having written every song on this CD,\"I\'m On My Way\" has allowed Hinton to share his message of love for the Creator through his lyrics and his music. The video for \"The Battle\'s Not Over\", a duet featuring Pastor Shirley Caesar, was nominated for the 2010 Stellar Gospel Music Award. (The CD was also recognized in initial voting in 4 categories (Contemporary Male Vocalist of the Year; Urban Inspirational Performance of the Year; Contemporary CD of the Year and Music video of the Year)). When asked about his motivation and the inspiration for his music, Hinton said: \"As I look back over my life, all of my accomplishments have been gifts from God. I want to make positive music that will enrich peoples lives. I thank Him for the gift and the opportunity to share my music with the world.\"
